Lake Shore operates a fleet of twenty-three 47 and 56 passenger MCI motor coaches. MCI has been building coaches in North America since the 1930s. For more than twenty years MCI coaches have been the most popular over-the-road coaches for charter coach operators in the United States. In June of 2003 Lake Shore added two 2003 MCI J4500 coaches to the fleet; one is pictured above. The J4500 is the newest addition to the MCI product line. It features the latest technical innovations including but not limited to its multiplex electrical system, the most environmentally friendly Detroit Diesel power plant, front kneeling which brings the entry down to curb level, first class aircraft style cabin with enclosed package bins, and 56 reclining seats designed to provide maximum personal comfort. Top that off with a computerized climate control system and an audio- video system rivaling the best home system and you have a good idea what makes the J4500 top of the line.
